Medical Camps:

Securing medical treatment.

Many villages around Vellore lack medical care. Shalom wants to secure medical treatment for poor people and in remote areas. Therefore, they send out teams of doctors in cooperation with the Christian Medical College (CMC) a few times a year. The teams consist of two doctors and nurses and treat up to 400 patients per day. In this way, those who can’t afford medical treatment receive medical care and medicine.
